Truffle Burger
at Burger House NYC
Hands down the best burger I've ever had. The truffle aioli was perfectly balanced, and the wagyu patty was cooked to an impeccable medium-rare. Every bite was a revelation and the brioche bun was toasted just right.

Salmon Aburi Roll
at Sushi Kai
The torched salmon melts in your mouth with that beautiful smoky flavor. Chef Tanaka's attention to detail is unmatched. The sushi rice was seasoned to perfection and the presentation was absolutely stunning.

Margherita Pizza
at Nonna Rosa
Classic Neapolitan style done right. The San Marzano tomato sauce is bright and fresh, and the mozzarella di bufala is incredibly creamy. The charred crust has that perfect chew. Would be an A+ if the basil were a touch fresher.

Wagyu Steak
at Steakhouse 55
A5 Japanese Wagyu cooked over binchotan charcoal. The marbling was extraordinary and it practically dissolved on the tongue. Paired beautifully with the truffle potato puree. An unforgettable dining experience from start to finish.

Cacio e Pepe
at Pasta Lab
Beautifully executed with a silky Pecorino Romano sauce that clings to every strand of tonnarelli. The black pepper gives it a lovely warmth. Simple ingredients elevated to perfection, though I wish the portion were a touch more generous.

Fish Tacos
at Taco Loco
Decent fish tacos with a crispy beer batter, but the mango salsa lacked brightness and the tortillas could have been warmer. The portions are generous for the price, and the chipotle crema adds a nice kick. Solid but not exceptional.

Ramen Tonkotsu
at Miso Heavy
This 18-hour pork bone broth is liquid gold. Incredibly rich and creamy without being heavy, with perfectly chewy noodles and a marinated egg that was absolute perfection. The chashu pork melts on contact. Worth every minute of the hour-long wait.

Lobster Roll
at The Clam Bar
Overflowing with sweet, tender lobster meat lightly dressed in lemon butter on a perfectly toasted split-top bun. The coleslaw on the side was crisp and tangy. A taste of coastal New England that transported me straight to the shore.
