Getting Started

Food A+ Plus is a dish-focused food discovery platform that rates individual dishes at restaurants using our proprietary A+, A, and B grading system. Unlike traditional restaurant review sites, we focus on specific dishes so you always know exactly what to order. Our ratings are based on expert reviews, community feedback, and quality standards.
Click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner of any page. You can create an account using your email address, or sign up instantly with your Google or Apple account. You will need to provide your name, email, and a password (minimum 8 characters). After signing up, you can start exploring, saving favorites, and leaving reviews right away.
Yes, Food A+ Plus is completely free for diners. You can browse dishes, read reviews, save favorites, and leave your own reviews at no cost. We also offer a premium membership with additional features like early access to new restaurant openings, exclusive dining events, and advanced filtering options.
Use the search bar on the homepage or the Explore page. You can search by dish name, cuisine type, or restaurant. Click "Near me" to enable location-based search and discover top-rated dishes within your area. You can also use the map view to visually browse restaurants and their highest-rated dishes nearby.
The Food A+ Plus mobile app is currently in development and will be available soon on both the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android). Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when the app launches. In the meantime, our website is fully responsive and works great on mobile browsers.

Account & Profile

Once logged in, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select "My Profile." From there, you can update your name, profile photo, bio, and food preferences. You can also manage your dietary restrictions and favorite cuisines to get more personalized dish recommendations.
Click "Log In" and then select "Forgot password?" on the login form. Enter the email address associated with your account and we will send you a password reset link. The link expires after 24 hours. If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder or contact our support team for assistance.
We take your privacy seriously. Your personal data is used only to provide and improve the Food A+ Plus experience, including personalized recommendations and account management. We never sell your data to third parties. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
Yes. Go to your Profile settings and scroll to the bottom to find the "Delete Account" option. Please note that this action is permanent and will remove all your reviews, saved favorites, and profile data. If you just want to take a break, you can deactivate your account instead, which hides your profile but preserves your data.

Reviews & Ratings

Navigate to any dish page and click the "Write a Review" button. You will be asked to rate the dish on a scale, add a written review, and optionally upload photos. You must be logged in to leave a review. We encourage honest, detailed reviews that help other food lovers make informed decisions.
A+ means the dish is exceptional -- a must-try that stands out in its category. A means the dish is excellent and highly recommended. B means it is good and worth trying. These ratings are determined by a combination of expert evaluations, user reviews, ingredient quality, and consistency. Only the best dishes earn our coveted A+ rating.
Yes. Go to "My Reviews" from your profile menu to see all your past reviews. Click on any review to edit your rating, update your text, or add new photos. You can also delete a review entirely. Edited reviews will show an "edited" label with the date of the most recent update.
All reviews go through both automated and manual moderation to ensure they are genuine, respectful, and helpful. We remove reviews that contain spam, hate speech, personal attacks, or content that is clearly fake. Restaurant owners can flag reviews they believe violate our guidelines, and our team will investigate within 48 hours.
Absolutely! We highly encourage adding photos to your reviews. You can upload up to 5 photos per review. Photos of the dish, the presentation, and the restaurant ambiance are all welcome. Reviews with photos are more helpful to the community and tend to receive more engagement.

Restaurants

Visit our For Restaurants page and fill out the application form. Our team reviews each application within 48 hours. Once approved, you can claim your restaurant profile, manage your menu, respond to reviews, and access analytics about your dishes' performance.
Yes. Once you have claimed your restaurant profile, you can respond publicly to any review. We encourage professional and constructive responses. Engaging with reviewers shows you care about your customers' experience and can positively influence how potential diners perceive your restaurant.
Log in to your restaurant dashboard and navigate to "Menu Management" or "Business Info." From there you can add or remove dishes, update prices, change operating hours, and upload new photos. Changes are typically reflected on your public profile within a few minutes.
Restaurant partners get access to a comprehensive analytics dashboard that includes profile views, dish performance, review trends, customer demographics, and competitive benchmarking. You can track which of your dishes are performing best and see how you compare to similar restaurants in your area.

Payments & Billing

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through industry-standard encryption. We never store your full card details on our servers.
Go to your account settings and select "Subscription." From there, click "Cancel Subscription." Your premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You can reactivate your subscription at any time without losing your saved preferences or history.
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase if you are not satisfied. After the 14-day window, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@foodaplus.com with your account details and reason for the request.
Basic restaurant listings on Food A+ Plus are free. We offer premium plans for restaurants that want enhanced visibility, promoted dish placements, advanced analytics, and priority support. Visit our For Restaurants page for current pricing and plan details.

A+ Certification

A+ Certified is our highest distinction, awarded to dishes that consistently deliver an exceptional dining experience. Certified dishes have been evaluated by our expert reviewers, received outstanding community ratings, and met our strict quality criteria for taste, presentation, ingredient quality, and consistency. The A+ badge is a mark of culinary excellence.
Dishes are evaluated based on multiple criteria: taste and flavor profile, ingredient sourcing and quality, presentation, consistency across visits, and community feedback. Our expert panel conducts anonymous visits and evaluations. A dish must score above our threshold across all categories and maintain that standard over multiple evaluations to receive and retain the A+ badge.
Yes. We conduct periodic re-evaluations to ensure A+ Certified dishes continue to meet our standards. If a dish's quality declines significantly -- based on expert re-evaluation or a sustained drop in user ratings -- the certification may be downgraded to A or B. Restaurants are notified and given an opportunity to address any issues before a final decision is made.
Visit our A+ Certified page to browse all dishes that have earned the A+ distinction. You can filter by cuisine, location, and price range. On the Explore page, you can also use the "A+ Only" filter to show exclusively A+ Certified dishes in your search results.
